What makes B/BAUER different is the combination of traditional salon services—including cutting, coloring and styling—with specialized expertise in hair loss solutions, toppers, extensions and mesh integration. With locations in Chicagoland and our expansion to Babcock Ranch in Southwest Florida, our goal is to be your destination for all things hair, no matter where you’re starting from.

Our Story
On Saturday, December 24th, 2016 THE ORIGINAL Brooke Bauer Boutique provided service to its very first guest.
Our original 300 square foot space offered two employees, two chairs and one shampoo bowl.
As our business expanded, we saw one frequent opportunity: women felt awkward discussing their desire for more hair. We knew we wanted to help because hair loss and low self-esteem were at an all-time high. In 2020, we made the pivotal decision to transition into a hair lounge specializing in hair consulting, volumizing techniques and enhancements.
To this day, we believe that no matter where you’re starting from, you can always have the hair of your dreams. That belief drives us to continually innovate and create solutions for guests who haven’t been able to achieve the results they’re looking for.
B/BAUER Hair Lounge currently operates two Chicagoland locations, and this year, we’re bringing the B/BAUER experience to Southwest Florida with our expansion to Babcock Ranch.
At the heart of B/BAUER is confidence. We create a space where people can be authentic about their hair, their self-esteem and what would help them feel their best. That starts with our team and carries through to every guest who walks through our doors.

Hi! I’m Julie I’m a hair loss specialist at B/Bauer hair lounge. I started experiencing hair loss myself when I was about 7 years old. Eventually I was diagnosed with alopecia universalis. I knew at an early age I wanted to help other women and children with hair loss. B/Bauer hair lounge has helped turn this passion into a career, being able to see the happiness in our guests eyes when we help them feel more confident in their own skin is one of the best perks about being a hair loss specialist. It is truly heart warming. I think because of my own personal experiences and experimenting with different techniques on myself, I can help guide guests as they get comfortable with their new hair systems.

A deposit of 75% of the service total is required to confirm a reservation.
Guests are kindly asked to provide a minimum of 48-hour notice for any cancellations.
If a reservation is canceled more than 48 hours in advance, the deposit will be refunded as a gift card for future use.
Cancellations made with less than 48-hour notice will result in a 100% charge of the reserved services.
As a courtesy, text and/or email confirmations are sent 48 hours prior to the scheduled reservation.

In the event of a late arrival, we will try to hold your spot as long as it does not disrupt other scheduled reservations
