Before beginning any of our hair loss or extension services, a thorough consultation is required.
We will talk about your ideal length, fullness and color. You could have your extensions applied as soon as a few days following your consultation if the hair is in stock, or as late as two weeks if hair needs to be ordered.
HAND-TIED EXTENSIONS

Our Hand-Tied Extensions are an option for someone who wants to add a significant amount of length and fullness. This method can be paired with other methods to create a large amount of fullness.

When you receive hand-tied extensions you can expect a gentle method with custom coloring, a custom application and custom cutting for a seamless blend. The extensions are secured using a row of beads and nylon string to attach wefts to the row. The hair wefts are the longest lasting hair out of our methods including 6-12 months of longevity. You can expect to visit the salon every 4 weeks for a bead move up and every 8-12 weeks for a full removal and re-application.
TAPE-IN EXTENSIONS

Tape-In Extensions are great if you are needing fullness or length in a specific area of your head. You would most commonly use these extensions to fill in the front of your head or add in a pop of color

When you receive tape-in extensions you can expect to have a piece of hair secured by an adhesive attached to that hair piece. This method may be for you if you are looking to fill out a specific area of your hair. These extensions are the lowest investment and are a great option if you have never tried extensions before. The hair pieces include about 3 months of longevity and you can expect to visit the salon every 4-6 weeks for a removal and re-tape application.
NANO EXTENSIONS

Nanos are great for fine hair because they are extremely gentle on your hair strands. It is less detectable than other methods and makes it easy to run your fingers through your hair. This may be good for you if you like to add a lot of dimension to your hair and you would like extensions closer to your hair line

This allows you to wear an attachment that is lighter, more undetectable, and closer to your hairline. You visit the salon every 8-12 weeks to move the tiny beads closer to your scalp. You can expect to be in the salon for a longer period of time, but maintenance these extensions less. You can expect to visit the salon for an I-Tip head move up every 8 weeks and a K-Tip replacement every 10-14 weeks.

We promise all of our Extension Specialists have not only gone through training, but also done extensive hours of practice to perfect their application. When it comes to extensions, choosing an experienced professional is key. Each application is customized to the individual guest and their hair type to ensure there will be no pulling or tension.

It isn’t possibly to quote pricing without an extension consultation. The price ranges from $500-$5,000 depending on your desired look, color and fullness.

You can expect your hair to require little upkeep in terms of daily styling because the extensions maintain their style for days. You will review various salon maintenance schedules for each extension technique with your stylist during your consultation. These schedules range from 4 to 12 weeks.

At B/BAUER we custom color all of our extensions to match your natural hair as close as possible. We use a blend of shades to create a natural look and you can even add in brighter pops to your hair while having it still blend seamlessly.

It's a good idea to have enough hair to cover any extension attachment, whether it's Nano, K-Tip, I-Tip, Hand-Tied, or Tape-In. You still have options if your hair isn't quite long enough to cover the extension attachment. This is when we will recommend a mesh integration system to create a halo of hair over your extensions and promote hair growth.
